Eduard Uspensky has died at the age of 80 years in the village of Puchkovo

The Russian writer Eduard Uspensky has died at the age of 80 years. The Ren-TV has reported about it. According to TV channel, in recent years Uspensky fought against oncology. To the writer it became bad on the ninth of August, 2018 – he has fainted, his spouse has called the ambulance. The message about Uspensky's death has appeared in the evening on August 14. As has noted RIA Novosti, the writer has died in the private house in the village of Puchkovo entering Troitsk Administrative District of Moscow. Eduard Uspensky was born on December 22, 1937 in Yegoryevsk. He was the author of many verses and stories for children. Besides, I scripted to animated films. Among his works adventures of friends from Prostokvashino, "A plasticine crow" and many others are most known to a story about the Crocodile to a gene and the Cheburashka. In the spring of 2018 there was a conflict between Uspensky and Soyuzmultfilm studio which has removed continuation of the animated film about Prostokvashino allegedly without his consent. The press service of studio has reported that have received the written consent of Uspensky to creation of continuation of animated films about Prostokvashino and its heroes before work on the project, RIA Novosti has written.
