National Geographic will organize the Wild Nature of Russia exhibition in Kemerovo

In the regional center there will take place the exhibition organized with the world famous magazine. Visitors will be able to examine works of winners of the All-Russian photo contest. On Tuesday, August 28, in the Kemerovo regional museum of Fine Arts the ceremonial opening of the photo exhibition "Wild Nature of Russia" which the editorial office of the National Geographic magazine organizes will be held. Kuzbassovtsa will be able to examine 170 works which have been selected by jury from more than 60 thousand pictures taken in the territory of Russia. – At this exhibition the best works of finalists of the photo contest of the same name "The wild nature of Russia 2017" are collected. A competition is held by the National Geographic Russia magazine annually on the website Following the results the photo exhibition which within a year travels around the cities of Russia is formed, – representatives of the magazine have told. The photo exhibition will be presented in 15 main nominations of a competition: "Birds", "Underwater shooting", "Young talents", "The nature in black-and-white tones", "Reserved Russia", Fotoistoriya, "Mammals", "From a decline till the dawn", "Mothers and cubs", "Landscapes", Makrosjemka, "Plants", "The city jungle", "A mobile photo" and special the Energy of Life nominations. Besides, among exhibits there will be a work of the participant from Kemerovo Andrey Vasilchenko – "A rainbow on Mars" which is made near the village Chagan Uzun Kosh-Agachskogo, the area Altai Republic.
