Putin approved change of the direction of construction of the high speed line from Moscow

Mass media reported that the president Vladimir Putin approved change of course of construction of the high speed railway line which as it was supposed earlier, will connect Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. As Kommersant reports, the head of state disposed to change a route along which trains will ply. Putin, media report, authorized the idea of the acting the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov and the head of the Russian Railway Oleg Belozerov to connect Moscow and St. Petersburg the new highway. Now contractors will work on construction of the road on which high-speed railway transport will ply between two capitals. Experts in a conversation with journalists told that the payback of such route is doubtful, as, they consider, expenses of not less than 700 billion rubles which need to be enclosed in construction of such project, will not beat off in adequate terms.
