Russian court allowed dogs to bite uninvited guests

The court in the Russian Federation relieved responsibility from the owner of a dog for attack on the guest who was without invitation. The decision, important for dog breeders, was made in the Arkhangelsk region. The man with the requirement of 100 thousand rubles of compensation from the former spouse for a sting of a dog appealed to court. The man lives in the communal flat with the former spouse and the child. According to him, he tried to enter the room to the woman to visit the child, but the dog bit it. The mistress of a dog claimed that the ex-spouse was drunk and behaved aggressively. The court supported the woman. In the decision it is noted that attack happened not in the public place where the owner of a dog bears responsibility for safety of people around, and in the personal territory where the man was not invited, Rossiyskaya Gazeta tells.
