Staff of the Harvard clinical and cross-disciplinary center and University of California of the USA has said that they have opened Gioconda secret, having diagnosed for it a disease of a thyroid gland. Scientists have explained a mysterious smile of Mona Lisa with existence of a gipoterioz, the Izvestia newspaper tells. – This disease is characterized by existence of the easy half-smile caused by muscle weakness, in particular, of facial muscles, – researchers have noted. Also they have pointed to the swelled up a little brushes, light yellowness of the person, lack of eyebrows and eyelashes that too is symptoms of a gipoterioz.
