The authorities of Moscow intend to tax trips to BlaBlaCar

The capital government has drafted the draft federal law according to which joint trips (karpuling) are recognized as service and will be assessed with a tax, Kommersant reports. Authors of the bill, in particular, suggest to oblige users of BlaBlaCar, BeepCar, "Yandex. Lifts" and similar services to pay off with a non-cash way that has to simplify taxation. Other initiative which is considered by the working group at the Government of the Russian Federation suggests to exempt, on the contrary, both drivers, and passengers from taxes as these sums there are less costs of fuel at long-distance trips. This idea was approved as services of a karpuling and the Union of passengers, and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
