The Crimea intends to adjust ferry traffic with Turkey

The Crimea intends to start the ferry to Turkey until the end of fall of this year, TASS with reference to the CEO of "The Crimean seaports" Alexey Volkov reports. – Have held a meeting with forwarding agents, shipowners at first of work of the direct autoferry Turkey-Crimea-Turkey line. Time when we start, I believe, will be in the fall, – he has shared. In October of last year Turkey has ceased to accept vessels from the Crimea under any flag. Volkov has noted that against the background of warming of the relations of two countries ferry traffic can be resumed. He has added that the ferry will go to Turkey from Kerch as it is the nearest port to Krymsky Bridge, the Turkish port will be known later. Initially ferries will use for supply of vegetables and fruit from Turkey and meat from the Crimea. Passenger traffic is planned to be resumed in 2019.
