The Governor of Khakassia Zimin has withdrawn the candidate from governor's elections

The acting Governor of Khakassia, the candidate from the party United Russia Victor Zimin has voluntarily refused participation in the next round of elections of the governor of the region. Zimin heading Khakassia for 10 years has made the decision on removal of the candidate less than in two days prior to elections. As has told journalists of Interfax a source in regional electoral commission, the candidate has refused participation in vote because of the state of health. The head of the commission Alexander Chumanin has confirmed removal of the candidacy of Zimin and has noted that the following stage of vote which had to pass tomorrow on September 23, will take place not later than in 2 weeks. We will remind that following the results of the first round of elections the current Governor of Khakassia Victor Zimin has collected 32,42% of votes.
