The head of Primorye has suggested to transfer the capital of the Far Eastern Federal District

The acting the governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako has suggested to deprive Khabarovsk of the status of the capital of the Far Eastern Federal District. The head of the region who has entered a position on September 26 has made such statement before journalists at a press conference. Kozhemyako is convinced that the administrative center of Primorye has to become the capital of the Far East. – I in general consider that Primorye has to be the capital of the Far East. Not Khabarovsk, but Vladivostok. First, for us it is the status. It is some money and attention. We are people hospitable, we will meet all, – Interfax cites words of the politician. The interim head of Primorsky Krai has also proved need of transfer of the capital by importance of Vladivostok for the organization and holding an annual action – East economic forum.
