The largest seaplane in the world has passed water tests

In China the largest amphibian on Earth from among those that prepare for production has passed new tests gliding. Gliding is called such movement on water at which an object adjoins to it only the small part, sliding on her because of a high-speed pressure. Gliding the amphibian has passed the first tests at the beginning of September of the 2018th, having dispersed up to 120 kilometers per hour. On new tests the plane has increased speed to 145 kilometers per hour, Defense Aerospace reports. Length of AG600 is 37 meters, scope of a wing – 38.8 meters, it is capable to fly of distance up to 5 000 kilometers at a speed up to 570 kilometers per hour and to transport 50 people, being in flight till 12 o'clock. China' s independently-developed large amphibious aircraft #AG600 on Monday successfully conducted a high-speed glide test on water. AG600 will be deployed for forest firefighting and water rescue. It can also work for marine environment monitoring and protection — People' s Daily, China (@PDChina) on October 1, 2018.
