The resident of Chelyabinsk went to interrogation for the lecture "How to Like Memes and Not to Go to Prison"


The administrative case was opened in Chelyabinsk concerning the activist of the movement "Open Russia" Denis Ibragimov. The man organized a human rights webinar "How to like memes and not to go to prison". Case was opened under the article "Participation in Activity of the Undesirable Organization", Kommersant writes. It is noted that the action was organized within discussion of partial decriminalization 282 articles of the Criminal Code "Arousing hatred or hostility". It became known later that first-year students of law department who gave against it evidences came to occupation. Ibragimov says that students arrived to a lecture on a request of staff of the Center for counteraction to extremism. It is noted that fighters against extremism considered the organization of a webinar illegal, having explained it with the fact that in 2017 the State Office of Public Prosecutor recognized Open Russia as the undesirable organization in the territory of Russia.
